About CPSI

The Clinical Psychology Society of India (CPSI) is a registered society which acts as the representative body for Clinical Psychology and Clinical Psychologists in the India. It is responsible for the promotion of excellence and ethical practice in the science, education, and application of the discipline in the community. CPSI will/shall strive to determine and ensure the highest standards, play leading role in addressing the challenges of mental health currently and in the future.

CPSI we will support and augment the development and application of psychology for the greater community virtuous, setting high standards for research, education, and disseminating knowledge to escalate public awareness.

Vision

To be a leadership body in the country that would represent the fraternity of Clinical Psychology, which strives to develop and deliver, “state of the art” approaches to the mental health care in the community.

Mission

To establish the highest standards of evidence-based care for psychological disorders

Work with the government (State and Central) and provide consultancy services for policy planning and monitoring strategies in the field of Mental Health and facilitate execution of national mental health program.

To develop human resource and capacity building by training graduates and post graduates in psychology related to Mental Health.

Develop and strengthen inter-disciplinary, inter-institutional and international collaboration with universities, IT sectors within the country and across the globe.
