Who can join CPSI ?

CPSI

Clinical Psychologists who are working in India.

CPSI

Psychologists & other allied health professionals who are interested in the field of clinical psychology

CPSI

Health Professionals who are interested to liaison with clinical Psychology.

CPSI

Students who are under mental health professional training,

CPSI

Students of clinical psychology, psychology, psychiatry and other allied health sciences, medical sciences.

CPSI

Clinical Psychologists who are working in Abroad.

Eligibility Criteria

Fellow Membership

(i) M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification to be determined by CPSI (ii) Registered in statutory council as “Clinical Psychologist” Presently in Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) New Delhi. (iii) Minimum 10 years of Experience in the field post professional qualification. 

Professional Membership

i) M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification to be determined by CPSI (ii) Registered in statutory council as “Clinical Psychologist” Presently in Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) New Delhi.

Associate Membership

Other Allied Health Professionals, medical and non-medical professionals practicing in India.

Student Membership

(i) A student of clinical psychology who is enrolled in any of the approved courses of psychology in an institute/university recognized by the statutory council for the course. (ii) Duration of this membership shall automatically get terminated upon completion of the course or becoming ineligible to continue the course.

Professional International Membership

(I) Clinical psychologists having qualifications in clinical psychology and possess a license to practice as a clinical psychologist/chartered clinical psychologists by the statutory body of a country other than India. 

Associate International Membership

Other Allied Health Professionals, medical and non-medical professionals practising in a country other than India.

Eligibility Criteria

Members Privileges

When you become a member of the CPSI, you receive a range of benefits designed to contribute to a happier, healthier lifestyle.

All members shall receive soft copies of the Journal of CPSI when published.

They shall also receive other Publications of CPSI on such terms and conditions as may be decided by the Executive Committee from time to time.

The members of CPSI may be allowed to join the programs of CPSI on reduced fees with respect to registration and participation in the academic and scientific activities of CPSI such as conferences, seminars, workshops etc.

Every class of members except Student members shall have rights to attend General Body Meetings.

Only following classes of members shall have rights to vote in elections and meetings (i) Fellow members & ii) Professional Members

In every case, except as otherwise specified within these Byelaws, the action of a simple majority of CPSI members, defined as half of those present plus one, casting votes on any matter shall be the official action of CPSI.

All CPSI members shall confer upon the holder the right to represent themselves as CPSI members in their respective class and display such insignia or logo as has been designated for use in the identification of CPSI Members. Any use of the insignia or logo has to be duly permitted by the executive committee.
